As a dedicated safety professional and trainer, I have built a robust career focused on creating and maintaining safe working environments. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I’ve developed comprehensive training programs that not only meet regulatory standards but also integrate a culture of safety within organizations.
I have experience in construction, fire services, EMS and wilderness search and rescue, where I quickly recognized the importance of prioritizing safety protocols. Through hands-on experience and continuous education, I have honed my skills in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and emergency response planning. I am a Certified Health and Safety Technician through BCSP and a National Registered Emergency Medical Responder.
In my role as a trainer, I believe in the power of engaging and interactive learning. I design workshops that resonate with participants and empower them to take responsibility for their own safety and that of their colleagues. My approach emphasizes practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge, ensuring that team members feel confident and informed in their duties.
I am passionate about staying updated with the latest safety standards and innovations, regularly attending seminars and professional development courses. This commitment allows me to provide my teams with the most current and effective safety practices.
